Ex Air Australia Fleet update

Its been more than twelve months now since Air Australia ceased flying and the operational fleet of one A330 and three A320s left our shores facing uncertain futures. We take a look where they are now.

Stuck in Honolulu after the airline's collapse, the aircraft ferried to Zurich for storage. It was later re-registered M-ABFL to AirCastle. On 8th March 2013 M-ABFL arrived into Manchester for painting by Air Livery to become OO-SFU of Brussels Airlines. Ironically this aircraft was first delivered to Sabena in May 2000 and was also registered OO-SFU. The aircraft also flew for Lufthansa as D-AIME and Swiss as HB-IQR before joining Strategic Aviation and later Air Australia as VH-SSA.
