Last Qantas 737-400 service to Brisbane

Qantas's last scheduled Boeing 737-400 service through BNE will depart tomorrow (Friday) morning at 0510 as QF961 to Canberra. The flight will be operated by Boeing 737-476 VH-TJS msn 24444 delivered to Australian Airlines (now Qantas) in May 1993. Only two Qantas 737-400s remain in the Qantas mainline fleet being VH-TJS and VH-TJX. Both aircraft are scheduled to operate their last services this Sunday from Canberra to Melbourne. Qantas's Boeing 737-400s were originally delivered to Australian Airlines from June 1990 and entered the Qantas mainline fleet in September 1992. Qantas's 737-400s will have completed 24 years of service for Australian Airlines/Qantas.
