QF8 Changes

Qantas's QF8 service from Dallas Fort Worth to Brisbane and Sydney will cease on September 28th when Qantas introduces the A380 on non-stop return services between Sydney and Dallas. The Boeing 747-400ER required a tech-stop in BNE enroute from Dallas to Sydney for fuel.

The A380 will bring a net 10 per cent increase in capacity on the route, as well as introducing First Class to DFW services. The QF8 service has been popular with aviation enthusiasts having been able to fly from Brisbane to Sydney on a Boeing 747-400ER.
