Summary of upcoming International flight changes

Listed below is a summary of changes to international services through BNE over the next four-five months.

  • Qantas cancels daily QF8 DFW-BNE-SYD B747-400 service from September 29th. Service is now nonstop DFW-SYD with A388 aircraft.
  • Virgin Australia from October 26th increases flights to LAX from four weekly to daily with B777-300ERs.
  • Singapore Airlines adds two additional flights from November 22nd on Fridays and Sundays SQ265/266 arrives 1650 & departs at 1805. Service operated by A330-300 aircraft. Service ends January 31st 2015.
  • China Airlines B747-400 aircraft replace A330-300s on TPE-BNE-AKL & return from December 5th. Service reverts back to A330-300s from February 28th 2015.
  • Hawaiian Airlines A330-200s replace B767-300s on the airline's four weekly HNL-BNE-HNL service from December 5th.
  • China Southern Airlines increases to daily from December 5th using A330-200s on the CAN-BNE route. Service returns to 5 weekly from March 1st 2015.
  • Philippine Airlines A321 replaces A320s on MNL-DRW-BNE & return service from December 8th.
  • EVA Airways to add a third weekly service to TPE from December 10th using A330-200 aircraft. Service reduces back to twice weekly from January 29th 2015.
  • Jetstar Airways commence a new Tuesday and Friday service to HNL with A330-200 aircraft from December 15th. JQ6/5 arrives 1430 and departs 1625. Service increases to thrice weekly from December 21st till February 23rd with a Sunday MEL-BNE-HNL service and a Monday HNL-BNE-MEL return service.
  • Etihad Airways B787-9 Dreamliners replace A330-200s on the airline's daily service to BNE from June 1st 2015. The flight now operates non-stop to AUH and is re-timed EY484/485 arrives 1815 and departs 2150.
